Picked up a tin from the owner at a pop-up in LA, and so glad I did. I've been a matcha drinker for 25 years, and this is a gem. It shines in both 'thin' and 'thick' preparations, has a vibrant color, develops beautiful foam easily, and presents an umami forward palate with some pleasant grassy sweetness and just the right touch of subtle tannic bitterness. If you're an experienced matcha person, you'll love this. If you're new to matcha and have only had lattes, this is a very approachable can to get you into enjoying and preparing it straight.
