Our ceremonial grade and single cultivar okumidori matcha is grown with the traditional ooishita cultivation method and first harvest tencha leaves. The region of Izumo, Shimane has a unique climate and geographical factors, particularly the short sunshine hours that contribute to a beautiful green color and low bitterness in the tea. The result is an umami rich, subtly astringent matcha characterized by a deep green hue.
